Hi, I’m Bec.

I am a qualified Naturopath with over 15 years of clinical experience, a busy mum to my 2 beautiful sons aged 6 and 8. Together we live on our beautiful property in Bells Beach on the surf coast in Victoria, and I run my busy clinical practice 5 minutes up the road in Jan Juc. I am a (self confessed!) foodie and strongly believe in the power of food as medicine as well as the belief that much ill health starts in the gut.

I completed both my GAPS practitioner training with Dr Natasha Campbell McBride in 2015 and commenced her 3 year fellowship with the Mindd foundation that same year. I bring my Naturopathic training as well as my medical background in what I feel is a great balance of East meets West. I was fortunate to tutor with the Deakin School of Medicine for 3 years tutoring first and second year medical students. I also spent 8 years working in pharmacy (in another life!!) I educating the community on the latest findings in natural medicine via my fortnightly column in the Surf Coast and Bellarine Times.

Rebecca Winkler Naturopath Womens health, gut, mood disorders

If I'm not in the clinic with patients, you will find me cooking away in the kitchen with the kids or hands deep in her garden. I live, breathe and exude passion for all things natural and truly believe that we are always learning. I look forward to seeing what the future holds when we begin to understand the enormity of the microbiome and in turn, see a time where the is no Natural and Western medicine, but simply medicine.

I have a big heart, which drives and motivates me to find the deeper cause of your health concerns. I see you. I see you crying in frustration. I hear your screams of anger and despair. I see you on the merry go round of appointments, only to be told that "nothing is wrong". I see you defeated. The beauty of a naturopathic, integrative approach is finding the clues and information in the grey areas, in between the black and white, on a daily basis. I will advocate for you. I am on your team and make a commitment to listen, advocate, educate and support you on your journey.

Feeling fatigued, hormonal and out of control should not be 'normal'. There is a big difference between merely existing and surviving, versus thriving and hitting your optimal targets and busting though the roof with regards to your health potential.

Listen to that little voice inside that says something isn't quite right, it's normally on the mark.
