14 Day Whole Food Feast
14 Day Whole Food Feast
This comprehensive 14 day meal plan gives you all the information you need to nourish your body while delighting your tastebuds! Day-by-day meals and snacks, tantalising recipes, and tips, and tricks for making the most of this time for yourself and your family.
These 14 days are about…
Making time to reconnect with foods that your body recognises and thrives on.
Giving yourself a chance to remove and rest from some foods that don’t serve us nutritionally.
Prioritising time to feed yourself and your family.
Forming some great new habits.
Getting reacquainted with your kitchen. It saddens me that cooking time and food prep often comes last, leading to choices out of convenience or tiredness. Prioritising time to shop, cook and prepare will hopefully reconnect you back to your body and its needs.
Falling in love with good food again.
Breaking the food stories in your head such “I don’t have time to cook", “I don’t like all of that healthy stuff”.
Preparing and shopping for your food well.
Enjoying well balanced, tasty, filling, family friendly, inclusive, and substitutable meals.
Getting in 2 fruits and 5 veg daily at least!
Learning about balancing your meal and your day. No skipping, happy blood sugar, happy brain.
They're NOT about...
We are not restricting or counting kilojoules.
This is not about perfection! These are a guide! You have not failed if you don’t follow it to a T. If you chip away at the recipes over weeks and months, you are still incorporating great whole foods and forming new habits.
We are not actively cutting any one food group necessarily, however the meals and snacks are wheat free, mostly dairy free and gluten free (apart from some meals including oats, which all have a gluten free alternative). However, unless you are intolerant, allergic or react poorly to specific foods, you should be able to include good quality, well grown grains and dairy into your diet. If you have difficulty digesting these or they cause inflammatory reactions, it may be an indication that your gut health is out of whack.
This is not an individually, specifically designed diet for any specific medical conditions or individual person and is to be considered a guide only. Please consult your health care professional to discuss if these suggestions are appropriate for you.
It’s not a cleanse, it’s not a detox, it is just good quality, flavourful food to nourish and support your body, whilst actively avoiding highly processed foods and take away.
This 14-day plan was not designed to specifically lead to weight loss, however some people may notice they release some weight due to the switch to wholefoods exclusively.
It is also not my intention to create kitchen stress or chaos. I do not want you to feel overwhelmed or unsupported. If you feel this way, consider if there are any changes you can make to create more space and energy to put into nourishing your home beyond these 14 days.
